Aims and Objectives of DevonListens:

        Aims:

To support individuals throughout the listening area

To provide communication tools, and events, to enable members to interact during the year

The service is intended to be relaxing and enjoyable.

DevonListens will be non-party political, non sexist, non-racist, non-sectarian; welcoming all listeners to BBC Local Radio in South-West UK.

Any profit accumulated will be passed on to local charities as decided by the members

Objectives:

To maintain funds to cover ongoing expenses with online and offline facilities and events

To raise funds for charities as nominated by the members

To provide support and friendship to all listeners

To organise social activities for the benefit of the listeners

To provide online support for listeners to BBC Local Radio in SouthWest UK; including a virtual meeting place

To provide occasional social events for listeners to BBC Local Radio in SouthWest UK
